I've just gotten into the second season of this and really enjoying it. The basic premise is it's a period Korean political drama, royal palace intrigue with a born out of wedlock crown prince (with a heart of gold) facing off against a scheming court official and his daughter (the pregnant queen). Also there are zombies.
It's kind of nice to see a very different culture handling of zombie situations, pretty much the same 'people as the enemy' thing I'm familiar with expressed in some new ways. It doesn't do an amazing job of complex characters so far (everyone seems to be grim with a heart of gold or utterly ruthless/selfish or background) but: the acting is decent, the effects are good and the pacing seems really solid. If you're not sick of zombies or you're up for a well done different take on them I really recommend this. It's not super, super gory but there's definitely blood.
