I like that thing at the end with the Palico tossing that green globe. At first I thought they were trolling/acknowledging the "Palico always heals at the wrong time" meme, but no! It actually revived the player!

from the sounds of things, they're gonna do this every month or bimonthly and just show like 5-6 things off at a time. Nintendo direct nonsense. To be fair, they never did shit at e3 but show trailers anyway (and it was always the best presser), so why spend money when youtube will advertise for you for free?

I know, didn't even show HD Tifa, only reason people wanted it remade probably.   awesome, for real

But then why even do this if you're showing off an expansion for a multi-platform game, some flying squirrel thing, a Predator game that is basically the follow-up to the Friday the 13th game IllFonic co-developed (which got a following despite most people acknowledging it wasn't very good) and a remake of MediEvil? Ok, they also showed a trailer which assures us that the FF7 remake is still being worked on, not that I expect it to release while the PS4 is still relevant.

It just feels like they've run out of major releases for the PS4 but aren't ready to show the PS5 yet.

The release calendar across all major platforms seems downright chilly right now. I usually keep a list going of upcoming games I'm watching for the year and right now I don't have a single game on my list. Maybe the Fire Emblem game for Switch?

I was wondering if I'm getting too bored of gaming, though maybe it's a combination of that and no real interesting games. Hell, I'm replaying Skyrim right now and thinking of another run through Horizon Zero Dawn because it's been a year or so.

I'm looking forward to Borderlands 3 and that's about all that's on my radar at the moment.

I don't even remember if I actually finished Ragnarok which isn't encouraging me to buy another expansion.

All major publishers are already preparing for next gen. They drop a lot of staff, refocus their development roadmap and scale down their release schedule until the PS5/new XBox hit.
