No thread?

I enjoyed this show immensely.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

I've seen the trailer and it's on my list but I haven't had time to get to it yet.

I have watched 7ish episodes so far its pretty good. I sense it is heading for a train wreck of a lot of people not understanding the cartel and how nasty it is who keep fucking with the main character. That probably is going to end in tears for a lot of hillbillies.

LOL.

That's why I like this show.

Interestingly, I started watching this show because I was in Mexico and neither Showtime nor HBO would stream to me.  Nextflix, however, gives no shits.

Brilliant show. Laura Linney is really underrated.

Just finished the first season and it's pretty fucking rad all around.

It's a very tense show the entire way through. The threat of anyone being brutally murdered at any time is real.

The first half was great, then they ran out of good ideas.  Disappointing.

I actually thought it improved as it went along. Especially as Linney became more central.

I felt like it was sold as an edgier Breaking Bad centering on Marty and his outsmarting people and being a glasses-wearing nerdy gladiator.  The first half pulled that off very well, but the second half got very

Laura Linney was ok, wha? she makes the show.

I agree with a few points you made, some of the plot lines got lazy, but you're wrong about most of that.

You either forget being a teenager (or aren't one yet) or have limited encounters with them, but that's pretty a-typical behaviour.
