Not sure if anyone wants one but the Steam Link is $20 on Steam and $20 on Amazon.

Dragon's Dogma is the early unlock for December's Humble Monthly Bundle, meaning you pay $12 and get Dogma now and in a week or so you get the rest of the bundle.  The Steam price is still $15 for just Dogma by itself.

The Steam Link and Controller are on sale at pretty good discounts. Used the Amazon gift card I got for my birthday last week to pick those up.

As far as games.....yeah.....eeeeeeehhhhhh....

Noticed I was missing Conquest of Paradise DLC for EU4 so picked that up and now I'm considering doing a playthru as Cherokee so further purchases might wait until Christmas sale.  Ohhhhh, I see.

Boston and HK Shadowrun games are $5 for anyone who hasn't played yet (like me!).

This War Is Mine for $4.

Might pick up a set of either/both Dungeon of the Endless or LOTR: War in the North for co-op play sessions. But I always think I might bother to do that during sales and often don't...

Beyond that I see some random obscure point an clicks and like two more Raiden games on sale for dirt cheap that if I have extra steam bucks floating I might snag.

Basically yeah. They use the Guildwars style purchase additional chapters model. Paid sub gets you game credits and cosmetics.

Looks like Steam also has the bundle with all the chapters for around $20.

No Man's Sky is 40% off, down to $36   awesome, for real

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is 50% off, down to $30.  Jumping on that.

To add to this thought:  https://www.humblebundle.com/nicks-staff-picks-bundle is one of the best $5 bundles I've ever seen them do. Steam has the Ultimate Edition of TSW for $20 but Bundle Stars has it for $18 which is as cheap as its ever been in the past.

https://www.bundlestars.com/en/game/the-secret-world-ultimate-edition

Also note that BloodBowl 2 is $11 but you would have to buy whatever team(s) you want seperate as it comes with none of the "dlc" teams, but that's as cheap as its ever been.

Its like a half step back in league admin options, which is really really sad. It looks much much better and the core "here is a  great TT game faithfully translated but you can play online" thing still works. They also aren't missing so many teams now though they are still not all back from BB1.

Doom (2016 version) is on sale for $26.39 CDN.  Not sure what that translates into Yankee dollars.  $20?  Well worth it IMO and it has very positive critic and user reviews.

Got a couple of touchscreen games for tablet use (World of Goo, Desktop Dungeons), the Homeworld Remastered/Deserts of Kharak bundle and a turn-based iso called Underrail that I've had my eye on for a while.

Dithering over GTA V, XCOM 2, Gal Civ III, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Universe Sandbox 2, but £s are in short supply atm.

Grabbed Jackbox 1 and 2 bundle, Castle Crashers, Sonic Generations and Love in a Dangerous Spacetime to give the new Steam Link a run for it's money.

The whole package is $30 but I didn't want to shell out that much on a maybe, and I'm sure the season pass will be on sale again for the Christmas sale so I can grab it then if I'm so inclined.

Hitman is honestly GOTY territory.

Other than that I got Cities Skylines, because maybe the trauma of Simcity is finally gone and I can enjoy city building.

I  haven't followed it at all.  Whats so great about the latest version compared to the previous games?

Kotor 2 (to replay it, but this time with the restored content) and pony island. Quite a few of the games I want are recent and have DLC and I'd rather wait for a complete version then buying bits and bobs.

I don't have much experience with the old games because they never really gripped me for some reason. But this new Hitman strikes a really good balance. It's super sandboxy, so you can use the huge range of game mechanics available to get all sorts of unexpected outcomes. But it also has a shitton of bespoke content, dozens of different ways to assassinate your targets, and a lot of it cleverly documented in the collectible style challenges menus. Then they make these two things play together, such as having challenges that can only be achieved by someone using the online part (contracts mode) to build the scenario.

The game is meant for playing the maps over and over, which usually never works for me but here it's successful for two reasons. One, the maps are gorgeous and ridiculously overbuilt. Two, the progress of going from the easy assassinations to successfully pulling off more elaborate schemes makes you feel like a total badass. Which is what Agent 47 is supposed to be.

Finally, the developers keep supporting their game. The episodic system is merely a way to ameliorate AAA pricing, but they go beyond that and you get new content even for the old maps. Like elusive targets, which are difficult assassination missions, popping up from time to time, that you can only try once. Basically you can scout the map and restart, but if you die or kill the target you can't go back. And despite being one time only experiences, these are not throwaway content. They even had Gary Busey as one of the targets, with all the voice acting.

Got my Steam Link in. Was a bit anxious to see how it would perform, as I was planning to hook the Steam Link up via hardline and my PC connected via wireless.

Fortunately my fears were soundly defeated once I got everything up and running. Sonic played as Sonic should, the Jackbox packs worked flawlessly, even The Division ran smooth as butter on my setup.
