So, there's a new gametype floating around MtGO (as the topic suggests) and obviously it's called Rainbow Stairwell. A guy in casual explained the rules (and before you ask, no you can't make a game with the type "Rainbow Stairwell").
RS is 60 cards total 24 lands: 4 of each basic land, 4 non-basic (no repeats) 36 other cards: 6 cards of each color and artifacts. The 6 cards must contain one of each converted mana cost from 1 to 6. For example: For black you could have: 1: B - Duress 2: 1B - Terror 3: 1BB - Swat 4: 2BB - Faceless Butcher 5: 3BB - Marrow-Gnawer 6: 4BB - Silent Spectre Rules: no gold cards, no "pay X" on a card (for cc, activation cost, or kickers), no beacons, pulses, split cards, and no wishes.
Seems interesting. I'm gonna throw a deck like this together tonight. It's an interesting way to make a 5-color deck as well. Guidelines are always good. Well, ok, almost never. But in this case they are.
