I just fired it up. It's a very abstract version of about a million different mobile strat games already out there. Their innovation lay in the future tracking and unlimited pre-planning of moves. Just a very zen, slick mp strat game.

I resigned on the 1st day of my game simply because I couldn't sink the time to be competitive. The future tracking kind of helps, but there's so much going on that you have to react to, that really you need to log in quite a lot to adjust your play. It reminds me of being hard into Ingress. You get constant notifications and chat messages, and really have to react quickly if you want to be competitive. In that sense, it's more RTS than TBS.
I will say it's a good game though if you've got the time, for sure. And it seems simple, but it's pretty damned difficult, especially if you want to take full advantage of specialists.
