Didn't read the book, but I'll see pretty much anything Fincher makes.  I liked it quite a bit. They don't make these types of movies much any more, i.e. twisty psychological pot-boilers.

The book was uber fucked up, but in a good way.
Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

Definitely check this out. I hadn't read the book, but this is a brilliant mind fuck that gets better as you reach the end. I hope it does inspire similar material! Affleck did a great job.

This was hugely entertaining, even if it didn't surprise me with most of the twists and turns (there was definitely one scene I didn't see coming though). I'll see anything Fincher does, but on top of that this was just a really good movie.
Have you tried the internet? It's made out of millions of people missing the point of everything and then getting angry about it
