If you don't like Rust in Peace, there's something fundamentally wrong with you  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

I'm kinda bummed by everyone saying it was such a great way to go. No musician would want to let down their band and fans like that, let alone scar them so horribly. It's like people who say it's great to go out banging some hot young thing, kinda selfish given the mental scar you're giving the poor girl who now has to think about your sweaty ass dying every time she has sex.

But yeah. I was just watching a video of Nick last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPV9sVau6T4

Before all the 'RIP' comments flooded it, there was a great comment, and I think the most enduring a musician can receive, (paraphrasing) "I can immediately tell what song it is, just hearing the drums." My other favorite was a comment that Nick was about to snap into it.

I think I shall name my next male cat Cato. So many good childhood memories of Cato.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

That is what my best friend in Carolina named the stray male black kitten she adopted. Mainly because she noticed how he would stalk and pounce on her other unassuming cats.

Kimbo Slice died, age 42.  Guy had too much hype that he never deserved, but he seemed like a decent dude.

No idea who he was so I looked him up.  He was only 42.  Very sad.  He sounded like a sweetheart.

Strange dude, but a shitty age to die at.   sad

Prince Be of P.M. Dawn died yesterday at 46.  Heartbreak

They were hip-hop's emo little brother. At least until KRS One threw them off a stage in '93.

You're not old, you're just not into hip-hop. Do the same thing with country stars and I'd be just as clueless as you are now.

Man, so young.  Apparently his car rolled down his driveway and ran him over.  Who knows if he could have been saved if someone had found him sooner.

I know I'm alone here, but I had fun in both the new Star Trek movies. I was super bummed to read this today. Dude was great as Chekhov, and appeared to be a pretty fine fella.

I liked him as Chekov, too.  According to IMDb, he has 5 movies that are either completed or in post-production still to be released.  Awkward.

I liked his Chekov. My problems with Into Darkness had nothing to do with him, or any of the actors in it.

He starred in a pretty good horror movie called Green Room which came out this year. Worth checking out when it comes out on blu-ray next month. Guy had a promising career ahead of him.

Legendary coach for Tenn ladies died @ 64 years old. Pat Summitt was huge in women's college hoops though no one pays that much attention to that side of things. She helped put women's basketball on the map. Alzheimer's really laid waste to her pretty quickly.

She was one of the best women's coaches of all time. It's a shame she had to go so early due to disease.
