Dude, we know how Twitch works and what Free to Play is. You aren't redefining gaming, you're just bringing existing stuff to consoles.

Well, swing and a miss I guess.

Well that was Planetside2 so they were probably talking the cash shop.

Dad's will want that shit. All they pimped was kids games. For $99, they can stream that bullshit to their bedroom. It's pretty brilliant.

Arkham Knight is an undeniably good looking game, but that batmobile combat looks pretty uninspired.

So, in summation:

Project Beast should've kept the name Project Beast.
Schild will buy a PS4 on 9/9/2014.

The rest of console gaming can be ignored. Business as usual.

I dunno, I keep flashing back to Spore whenever they show stuff for No Man's Sky.  Looks great, interesting tech, but details on the actual gameplay are kind of sketchy, unless I missed that bit.

Is it coming out on PC? Because the only systems that matter are PC and in a vacuum, because of like 3 games, the PS3.

Anyone have a list of worthwhile PC games being shown at E3?

Valve should really start doing an event like this and treat the PC like a console. Maybe they will when Steamboxes are out.

Eh, it's just a feeling I get, could be completely off base (it's not like I've played it or anything).  They're both about discovering weird new aliens, flying around in a spaceship to visit new procedurally generated planets, in a kind-of-but-not-really multiplayer setting...  I don't really know enough about the gameplay yet to say for sure how it'll be different.  Art style aside, obviously, it just reminds me of Spore.  I dunno.

I got that feeling too. From the red grass alone. Also the very static looking space ships. Lots of worldy-fractally generated stuff with very little actual game is my guess.
