Trailer makes it look like Titanfall without the Titans and an actual campaign mode (featuring Kevin Spacey).

I am surprised (not positively) by the quality of that motion capture or whatever. Games that are by now 1 year old like The Last of Us or The Anne Page Simulator seem to have nailed down facial expressions and photorealism much better. Considering the budget of a Call of Duty game and the caliber of Kevin Spacey I am surprised how much "uncanny valley" and stiff this still looks.

Nooo! You're breaking my streak of making the Call of Duty thread every year!

...I'm irrationally excited about this because it's by Sledgehammer and not Treyarch or Infinity Ward.

This is going to be dogshit.

Spacey would've made a great Deus Ex villain though.

This will not be Deus Ex.

Can this please be the real indicator that people are tired of CoD? Ghosts was apparently dogshit and didn't break the previous sales records of the couple games before it I believe, so if this one is shitty and does less shockingly well we might have a downward trend going.

Going on my extensive market research (aka observing my 13 year old and his friends) they should've stopped with MW2.

My son and friends have spent the last two weeks engaging in raucous online MW2 battles. Ghosts hasn't left it's box in months.

I enjoyed Black Ops. The first one, not the second one that I got bored with 1/3(?) of the way through the campaign. Was that before MW2 or after it?

Black Ops 1 came out the year after MW2.

I think the last Activision (non Blizzard) game I paid money for was Modern Warfare. Prior to that... Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 on the Dreamcast. The latter is probably better than any Activision game that came out after it... and it was made by  (well, ported by) Treyarch. Weird.

Smart choice in bringing Frank Underwood to their game.

I can't even tolerate House of Cards anymore after going to a wedding where there were a bunch of shitty white conservative government workers between the ages of 25 and 35. I won't lie, I wanted to start throwing punches.

My brother's wedding was like that too, but ultimately the offenders just got their asses handed to them at the pool table in the beach house and stopped talking as a result.  It was sorta hilarious that bar games trumped conviction and all that.

Finally, something with Kevin Spacey I'm not willing to watch!

Welp.

Oh, man, that is a good point.  Wow.  Fucking perfect.

It could still happen...?
