Only 71--I would have thought he was a bit older.

"The Long Good Friday" was his best role, I think. Interesting case of a guy who could easily have just been a character actor managing to cross over and become a leading man for a good while.

Also terrifyingly hairy.

I just recently rewatched Who Framed Roger Rabbit for the first time since childhood and was delighted, by Hoskins in particular.

Same. It is amazing how well that movie holds up and Hoskins was brilliant.

'Reality' is the only word in the language that should always be used in quotes.
