Whatever fuckers it's back to funny again!  why so serious?

Rick catch phrase montage was my favorite part.

Also Morty jerking in the kitchen yelling stop trying to shame me.

It was a very long and weird setup for a hell of a punchline, I'll give it that. I was bored waiting for the climax but that ending was fantastic. On the second viewing last night I caught that they'd put Mr Poopypants in the intro montage. Nicely done.

Can't decide who the bigger prick is...Rick Sanchez or Stephen Colbert.  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Rick is, of course.

Colbert suppressed his ego so his world would live.

Rick would have said, "Fuck this" and gone to an alternate universe or simply escaped and lived in the 'real' world.

It kinda bugs me that the Microversians didn't either hook up the Miniverse or some other power generation system to the same "waste power disposal" circuit as the goobleboxes (which they could still do now, for that matter), or figure out before inventing the Miniverse that the "waste power" thing was superstition and they could generate 80% more power with way less infrastructure by cutting it.

It briefly bugged me that Rick made his power generation dependent on manual labor rather than creating a solar array (or Dyson sphere or something) inside the microverse and drawing his power from that.  But then I realized that he probably did it that way for his own entertainment more than anything.   awesome, for real

Started watching this on Adult Swim while waiting for my next games in the Hex stress tourney. Only on S1E3 but damn, it's funny.

Awesome.

I liked the tag with the vampire elder better than this episode. It was good, just not at the top of the pack by a good amount. I feel like there was a good idea there they forced out before letting it germinate a little more.

I thought the Jerry and Beth plot was pretty damn good.  Especially toward the end with them exploiting the "mythalogue" (or whatever they were) gizmo to a ridiculous degree.  That's the kind of goofy sci-fi shit that keeps me tuning in to this show.

My favorite thing about the Tiny Rick plot was the way they built up the vampire thing and then resolved it off-screen to fuck with the audience.   awesome, for real

"Auto Erotic Assimilation" remains my favorite episode of the entire series and I don't ever expect them to top it, so at this point I'm just enjoying each new episode for what it is.

I thought the Jerry and Beth B-plot was actually better than the A-plot, a first for the series.

You can stream them on AdultSwim.com but I think it's region locked. Being a filthy Euro I think you'll need an eyepatch or inoculate yourself and try any of the 'free' streaming sites out there.

Where do I get this show ?

https://www.reddit.com/r/rickandmorty/comments/388hxx/will_rick_morty_air_in_the_uk/

- It was picked up by some UK channel
- You can watch some of the episodes for free on adultswim.  Region locked, so you don't get all episodes, but some are available for preview.  Pilot is mediocre, but everything after is pretty much gold.

Half the time I'll just buy episodes on Itunes if I'm asleep when its on.  I consider it a donation to keeping the show on the air.

Setting themselves up for a hell of a season 3 opener.  I wonder if the new status quo on Earth will persist or if it'll be reset somehow.  Seems like a big strength of the show has always been the contrast between normal life on Earth and wacky adventures in space.

There's always Cronenberg Earth to go back to. Or any of the others.

It was a phenomenal season ender though, I especially liked the return of Mr Poopy Butthole.

I suspect next season will start with the whole family walking into the house, Rick saying something like "Wow, that was a pretty amazing prison escape and total defeat of the Federation. The most exciting thing ever. Anyone want breakfast?"

I laughed at that way harder than I probably should have, my wife doesn't watch the show and was very confused.

However they did show a new episode at 11 and 11:30 in place of Samurai Jack and Dragonball Z Super. It was amazing much like the Mulan Szechuan sauce they did back in 1998.

If you didn't catch it they're replaying it at 10pm this week.

Apparently they are making a Rick and Morty game for VR, which needless to say, I can't wait for.  They actually already made a short "game" called Accounting, which is fucking hysterical and has of course nothing to do with accounting.
