Where's the Death guy with the killer scythe from?  Watched him absolutely destroy Joker a few days ago.

Hato always wins.

Don't fuck with that duck.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

Right now it's Sad Claps x 2 vs Uppercut x 2.

Most of those fights were insane. The final fight and bronze round were let downs imo.

I disagree. That final match was beautiful if only to see Silver Samurai just completely obliterate that asshole Cyborg Superman with his broke-ass health and ridiculous damage.

Also, this tourney was just the second pool of 8, and each pool's tourney will be held weekly. You can see the upcoming matchups here:

I went to Atlantic City once because my mom wanted to go.  Some company gave everyone $50 in quarters for the slot machines (and a box of Salt Water Taffy).  I won $5 on the very first slot machine and went home with $55 in quarters and a box of Salt Water Taffy minus the mint ones.  I've blown hundreds of thousands of dollars with this game and I'm not even mad that I don't get taffy.

Eh, I'm only there for the fights and crazy chat. My connection blows too much for the betting to work - heck, the fights are slideshows sometimes.

Yea, this makes little sense to me. I went from $300 to $140 by guessing wrong on four straight matches. Then I finally guess right! And win $4 on a $40 bet.
Without knowing the odds before betting, it seems very unlikely to ever get anywhere.

The only way I can keep my head above water is by betting $1 on every fight.  You never lose more than $1 if you lose, and if you win, you always win at least $1, and if the odds are even a bit in your favor (1.1:1) you get $2 or more.

At this rate I'll be able to afford a virtual yacht in about 4.3 million years.

I went on a tear (for me) and got to 2.6k. I've lost about 900 since then. There are occasionally "real" matches with close to 1:1 odds. The problem is you have to guess right or it's off to the mines.

So Salty's installed an "auto-balancer" that is supposed to give a small boost to characters who have extremely ridiculous odds against them. Nobody but Salty is entirely sure what exactly it does, but GAF is saying at least some of it is a boost to HP.

I imagine that against idiot AIs this won't make a big difference, but could possibly make matchups between one normally good character and one overpowering-but-not-badly-broken character more interesting.

Naturally, jimmies are hella rustled right now, especially in chat. It's kind of funny, them wanting all the dumbass sandbagging DBZ characters removed to make it "more legit", but anything else has them up in arms.

Isn't that part of the charm though?  That some of the fights are ridiculous one shot roflstomps?

Angus ain't so good against good Akumas, Ogre, Deer Lord, or Silver Samurai.

In fact, he's not very good at all.

The matchups have gotten really weird since Salty added all the new characters Cherrywarrior gave him. They're nearly all either from anime (a lot more Cardcaptors, oh boy) or Touhou characters, and most all of them are pretty ridiculous.
