It's here, and it's "pre-order" (due to technicalities it cannot be sold from within the client). Delivered not later than August 23rd. It's 10$ or 8€ (no idea about other currencies, sorry). It's a Jenner D.

*100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society, net of applicable Sales Taxes and third-party transaction fees such as credit card and payment processing fees. These fees typically represent less than 4%. For clarity, IGP and PGI are not making any money off of the donated funds.

Worth mentioning that 2 minutes after the preorder went up on the site, they had already collected 1200$. Literally 2 minutes.

FAKE UPDATE: ~~After 10 minutes it's 1700$~~. 2600$ after 15 minutes. That's about 260 donations.

I was sure to buy this if it had been available for mc (I had 5k saved for just that) but now I have to decide if the cause is enough to go back on my decision to not use any more real cash on mwo. Ohhhhh, I see.

Understandable. Same here, I have 3000 MC aside for it. You know, you can donate 10 money to the Canadian Cancer Society (or any other) and fuck MWO.

The cause is good enough. Whether it's $10 through MWO or directly, it's worthwhile.

While it's awesome they're doing it, that number is pretty sad and indicative of how few people are playing... or at least paying.

No, it's in the FAQ. You can't donate more than 10$, you can't buy more than one Sarah's Jenner, and you can't gift it to friends, so unless you wanted to game the system making fake accounts only for that purpose (?), 5356 is the exact number of contributors as I type.

For the record, the Sarah's Jenner is a Jenner D, so the same identical thing Founders got. Many people, like me, now have two identical Jenners (and it's the only Jenner I got so I'll need 4 to master them), except for the camo and paintjob. Then again, of course, the 'mech itself is not why we contributed.

The Sarah's reached 100k $, and counting.

Some great peoplle even came up with a two-wheeled version.
