In case anyone is interested in those two games.  I might finally install ARMA2, which during a sale awhile ago, and try DayZ.

Um, I'm reasonably sure I purchased Age of Conan on steam years ago.

Interestingly was 'playing' DayZ last night with a friend.  The 6 launcher makes things easier to join and play, BUT its still laggy, buggy, awkward looking and once you've pushed past the bugginess, the bad inventory, have explained to your friend all the 'endearing' bugs and things to never do (don't swim!!! Yes you have to reload your hatchet...) you get shot by some douchenozzle on a hill with a sniper rifle, after being unable to find your friend in Pridgorodky for 10 minutes...

I'll wait and see if the standalone makes the game bearable before being gibbed by a PK'er from 200m away and losing 3 hours of my life again...

That's emergent gameplay, man! Don't you impugn rocket's vision!

On second thought, fuck that guy.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

Those interested may want to give AoC another look.  They relaxed the F2P restrictions last month so all classes and dungeons are playable without a sub.  And apparently they're still adding content.  So there's that.

My non-steam client is just shy of 32GB but hasn't been updated for a few months
