Out of the frying pan, into the fire.

You and every 3rd player of this game. That is all I ever see- NE hunters and dwarf pallys grief-killing lowbies all the live long day.

Yes, but every one of those 3rd players in the game are making retribution pallys.

They can have them for all I care. My build is better.

I made an alt on another server that was going to be a crazy paladin like you said.  A shield bearing, plate wearing, healing tank.

I ended up making a priest because I'm so intrigued by it.

On the topic of grief:  get the Scarlet Crusade disguise (Tirion Fordling series of quests) and go hang out near Hearthglen.  Instant comedy.    Plus it's fun to kill people that haven't done the quest yet.  Nothing like taking someone by surprise while they try to figure out why they're being frostshocked by a bald human in Scarlet Crusade digs.

I had SO much fucking fun with that.  I dropped at least 20 people in the first 23 minutes, then i finished the quest in the last 7.  It was funny sneaking around behind trees while every horde in sight run circles around taelan trying to find me after i ganked them.  Was kinda nice that the mob you are supposed to escort can solo the quest.

54 Dwarf Priest...

Yeah I pwn 1v1, yawn so what as said by others  I'm avg or less in GvG, I find myself stuck in some limbo where my best use is SWp and PWs everything in sight while throwing out dispells and rejuv and mind flaying, but instead I usually end up hiding and trying to get off a 4sec f'ing heal while the pld's run around doing less dmg then me and not casting their invluns on others or using their uber for pvp heals.  I would much rather be a pally using +int gear, god that'd own   cry

Flash heal. Never ever try to get off a greater heal in PVP 'cause it's not gonna happen. Also, paladins aren't as good as people think they are for group PVP healing. Many times I've only just kept someone alive with shield+renew+flash heal spam (at the very least it takes the enemy a second to dispell/purge the shield, so it still does what it does best - buy time) and just known that a paladin would not have been able to heal fast enough. They have comparable HPS, but 2.5 seconds can be a long time in group PVP. Their invulns, while good, are at best of a 4 minute timer, can be dispelled (and will if the enemy is smart), and only protect against physical damage. The best healer pallies I've seen start their heals very early and so spend most of their time healing, and since they have no DoTs or ranged attacks... yeah, pallies aren't as good as they sound at first glance. They rock as cleanse bots though (especially since it lets them still attack).

Just curious: What have you trained in the Protection tree?
