Not to be mistaken for the Edgar Wright movie The World's End.

Looks interesting, especially with this cast.

As with a lot of the films these guys make, it will either be hilarious, or dumb beyond words (or possibly both). I'm hoping for hilarious.

Also, fuck Michael Cera.

I have a feeling this is gonna be both hillarious and dumb, but I will probably love it anyway.

Michael Cera AND Rihanna dying horribly? I'd pay 3D prices just for that.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

Ugh, god dammit.  This is either going to be fucking amazing, or the most horrible shit ever made.  I hate it when they do this to me....

Holy shit this was funny.

There were some scenes that fell flat and a couple that just went on a little too long (like any comedy), but HOLY SHIT this was funny. To be honest, I am a little bored of most of the guys in this movie, especially McBride, butI haven't laughed this much at a movie in a very long. So funny and so wrong.

This smells of cheap publicity for the movie to me, but still a fuckin great story.
Warning, some spoilers here (I guess one big one):

That link totally spoils a pretty funny moment at the end, by the way.

Edit what?  If people bothered to read before clicking a link they'd see I warned for possible spoilerage.   Ohhhhh, I see.   There, I fixed it, now it's BOLD, ITALICIZED, and indented.
Anyways, regardless, it's delicious gossip.  Good marketing.

I PMd you, dork.

Anyway, it's definitely doesn't strike me as PR. This all came out from an interview that had nothing to do with This is the End and only came up now because it's relevant. It kind of flew under the radar at the time the comments were made, mostly because the movie was flying under the radar in production. Goldberg/Rogen kind of produce their own stuff now, with not a lot of studio involvement considering their movies cost nothing to make.

Edit: I may be confused a bit with Timelines. The way the context is brought it up, I think the interview must have happened awhile ago. It still doesn't seem PR-y to me.

Hmm, think I'll go see this.  Not only does it seem popular among you guys, its getting 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is rather impressive for this type of movie.

Comedies are pretty much the last movies I will recommend to people, because they are so subjective to not only that person, but their mood and mindset when they watch it - but I have no problem telling everyone to go see this.

I was not impressed by the trailer, but saw this today because of a surprise day off from work. Very funny, best comedy I've seen in a while.

Uneven in places but pretty damn funny.
