So which ones are the good ones again? Or the must-haves?

GoG is having an end of the year/world sale, and so I might pick up a couple. I have a couple of them on disc, but they're all packed away atm, and I want to save the disc space...

HoMaM 3 Complete is my favorite.

I love the music from 2, but 3 improved everything else. 4 was quirky and a lot of people didn't like it. However, it's my 2nd favorite in the series.

For some reason I never got too far into 5, it's graphically by far the best. Not sure why it didn't pull me in as much as the others.

3 and 6 are the only ones I would recommend. 3 is an all-time classic, and 6 comes the closest to recapturing that of the others. Note: if you are an anti-DRM fanatic, you will have to miss out on 6, as it uses uPlay.

The Transcendent One: AH... THE ROGUE CONSTRUCT.
Nordom: Sense of closure: imminent.
