Sad to see the old fucker go.  He was a large part of my childhood, in many TV shows.

(Dallas was the first - and for a long time, the only - TV drama show from the Evil Capitalist West we got here, and its following is absolutely huge to this day.)

That;s a shame. And he was the only good thing about the new Dallas that came on for a few episodes last summer  too.

I watched Dallas once because of all the drama and papers and press about who shot J.R.  I turned it on and realised that I had no idea who J.R. was!  I seem to be very easily manipulated by adverts.  Like now I keep having dreams that I'm a stream of Baileys being poured into a glass of ice.
