If you are going to exploit and risk a ban, why bother mining all the ore and not just park yourself next to a rich mithril or orichalcum node and switch servers until it's exhausted on all? (it should be at the same place on most afaik)  edit:actually, just get to some chest like the one in the temple of grenth(?) and switch servers on that...disclaimer:I am in no way supporting exploiting by server transfer |

I think it's case by case. Small chests can be looted ad infinitum but the chest at the undersea organ seems to only be lootable once per account. |

Puzzle large chests probably have a one month reset like GW1 hidden chests.
Event large chests (the splendid ones at the end of zone events) reset, but I've never puzzled out exactly when they reset.
Dragon chests (post dragon event) are lootable every time you participate. I've seen some form of cap on players or something though, since not everyone can see it when there are 400 people involved.
