Very funny new cartoon on Disney Channel. I would say at least the equal of Phineas and Ferb. Sometimes more clever than that--and it has a bit more of a kind of hidden storytelling arc going on. Sort of a kid-friendly pastiche of Eureka, Twin Peaks, Lost, The Three Investigators, etc, but with a big comedic element as well.

Necro. Nothing new to say really other than that this show really deserved more than one post. If you watch Adventure Time, Avatar, or other animation at all you should give this a couple episodes. Got picked up for a season two also, which should arrive some time this fall.

It's a really good show. Definitely f13'ers with kids should be steering them to this, and then sit down and watch with the kids.

Is it on Netflax or Hulu?

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

Neither, it's on Disney Channel.

You can catch a few clips here: http://disneychannel.disney.com/gravity-falls/video

If you have charter, uverse, Cox, Fios, Xfinity, Dish or a few others you can watch full episodes here: http://watchdisneychannel.go.com/

I've checked a few episodes out but it's never grabbed me. It lacks something I just can't quite put my finger on.

I'm not sure what it lacks.  It's a well-written kid version of X-Files.

There are secret messages at the end of the credits, and probably elsewhere.

Download it. Seriously. It's a great show. Our whole family watches it over and over again. It never gets old. I understand that I'm given to hyperbole, but this show is so good it's worth doing whatever you have to do to get it.

Caught a bunch of these on a marathon showing on a flight from SF to New York a while back. It's probably the best thing on the Disney channel.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

Everyone aware of the new episodes?  Still funny and creepy.  In fact, downright scary in places.

I found out about this just a month or two before the second season started and ended up watching the whole first season in a weekend.  Season two's off to a great start and seems like it's aiming to dig deeper into the mythology, as it were.  I love the twin peaks / x-files vibe it has at times.
