So I'm getting way into DOTA2 again, and I'd like to see if any f13 folks would like to designate a night to hop on and play.  I'm EST, and probably looking at 5p-10p EST, hopefully on Wednesday.

Anyone interested?   Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Oh, as an aside, I'm considering creating an Endie/WuA recap of our matches to provide something to do at work while we're so damn slow.   DRILLING AND MANLINESS

The days I play are pretty sporadic but I'd be up for this.  I'm CST and usually home after 5pm or so.

Can play 5-7 eastern tonight. I am a filthy euro so no later.

I warn you I am bad at this game.

Though you should mention this on the main dota2 thread or no one will notice.

At work and on my phone, so cross-posting and copy/paste is really hard.

Mind doing it for me?

I'm happy to play if I happen to be around -- my schedule is a bit random, but PST evenings are most likely.

I don't play this much and am hopelessly lost but if you see me on, throw me an invite and I'll try not to suck too hard.

We're f13...the idea is to have fun, right?  Well, that and provide hilarious stories of gameplay.

Or have I missed the point?

I kid.  We'll probably play some AP games so folks can familiarize themselves with the same heroes and gameplay.  Who do ya'll usually play?

10 pm Eastern is like the absolute earliest I could even start, myself. (And thinking about it Wednesdays are generally out for me anyway).

That might not be so bad, since it sounds like we have folks who start at 5p EST and continue through the night.  The PST players will probably show up midway through the matches and EST players will drop off, so I bet it'll balance for you.

Anyway, I'm online on steam, feel free to ping me if a thing is happening and you need warm bodies.

Sounds good.  I'm clancaster on steam (tag is [f13]cmlancas), but I won't be home for another two or so hours.

Also, I vote randoms for tonight as well.  Will make for a more interesting writeup, I think.  :)

If I'm playing all-pick I always just random now.  I'm semi-comfortable with pretty much anyone now.

My best are probably - Sand King, Rubick, Omniknight
I've played more than a few with - Lycan, Shadow Demon, Leshrac, Ursa, Broodmother

I am starting to random as well.  I find myself enjoying Pudge and Silencer quite a bit, but I've always been an agi/int-hero ganker.  Lich, Lina, Lion, CM, AM, Drow, Bone Fletcher, SA and the like.

Sounds like we'll complement each other nicely.  :)

Change of plans, I probably won't be on until 7 EST.  Girlfriend decided she wanted to tank LFR.   DRILLING AND WOMANLINESS

Also, bhodi it's totally worth the dollar plunking.  Cough up the $30 and join us!

You can buy into the beta for 30 dollars, which comes with a bunch of cosmetic items.

I started writing a writeup and deleted it because I realized two things:
- my writing sounds like a bad Hemingway mixed with a less-funny Vonnegut and
- nobody gives a shit about it.

DRILLING AND MANLINESS

But, we had fun!  I think the f13 teams were 5-4 over the course of the night, with everyone pitching in for at least one win.

For later in the evenings I am pretty sure Fordel and I are going to take the fail plunge soon. And maybe Rasix too if he decides he likes it.

Read the blood bowl forum if you think blow by blow accounts of computer games would be somehow unwelcome.

Played a few with Bhodi tonight.  I put up some pretty poor games and we went 1-2, but I am more looking forward to trying to play some games with a group together now.

Let's see...

Wednesday was 2-4
Thursday was a trainwreck...connection issues among other things, 0-2
Friday was okay 1-0
Saturday was a roflstompfest, 9-1
Sunday was alright 1-0

Have mainly played with bhodi, but megrim and Haemish have contributed as well.

The real question is who the hell has time to Radicalthon between games?  :o

So, I'm trying to get this to work.  I launch the game, and the window asking me how "familiar" I am with DOTA-style games come up.  I click Novice, but nothing happens.  I can't get rid of this window.  Any advice?
