The Darkness War is the third dungeon in the game, you can get in from Blue Mountain at the Wabanaki encampment. Old Joe has the quest. It drops all blue QL6 equipment. It is nice and smooth and free of trash like all the other ones, and I am up to help people do it anytime I'm online.

These days it's pretty hard to get organized due to the f13 custom chat malfunctioning, but the friend list is in good health and as long as you manage to keep it up to date with all the names from the sticky post, it shouldn't be too hard to get someone to fill up a group. We did it tonight and it was a lot of fun. Took a few wipes to understand the mechanics of the second and the last boss, but the reward was more than amazing both in terms of loot and personal satisfaction.

I encourage everyone to whisper me when you see me online to try and run the dungeons (this or any of the previous ones). While it's true that this game plays a lot as if it were a solo game, I think the dungeons deserve to be tackled (with a group) if nothing else because the total absence of trash mobs make them pleasant and diversified challenges. Also, good drops help the solo parts.

Anyway, point of this thread wasn't to advertise for the dungeon, but to try and get groups going or eventually discuss drops, lore (spoiler: awesome cameo appearance of one of the most legendary artifacts ever) and tactics.

Reborne and myself have run a few dungeons now with some other f13ers and I have to say I've enjoyed every one of them. They break up the outside world experience nicely and also give great loot. A couple of days ago we ran Hell Revisited with Tyrnan, Seraphim (I hope I got the names right!) and another friend and had a blast. The weapons we got were all Q8 blues that were better than the Q10 greens I'd managed to scavenge from some Lair areas and I think everyone got something out of it.

If anyone wants/needs to run some dungeons at any point, definitely hit me up if you see me, I'm always willing to give them a go. Even if its a 4 hour first attempt at The Ankh (those bosses...) without a full group that ultimately failed. Good times.

Oh, as a side note; The look of the weapons from the dungeons are quite uniquely themed, so if you're like me and like appearance fiddling you'll want to keep running the dungeons to satisfy the "collect them all" urge.

I'm always down to do dungeons if I'm on.  Any of them.  I'll even do Polaris again.  I  Heart you guys.  I don't have the gear to solo heal Ankh yet though.

How long do the dungeons take? My play time is very spotty.

If you don't die then 30-45 minutes.  They are really fantastic with a good group, but they can be quite frustrating with people who struggle with movement and avoiding bad things.

Yeah, if you go with an experienced group they can be as short as 20 minutes I'd say. And 45 at WORST, unless it's everyone's first time or you are undergeared. In that case it's a challenge and a completely different story.

I hope to catch you in game with any of your alts Sky, I'd love to go through any of them together. Polaris is a fantastic introduction to this game's dungeons.

I'm down for dungeons. I just got into Blue Mountain myself. Was there a dungeon quest in Savage Coast that I missed? I didn't seem to find one, but I could have overlooked it.

Inferno, it's at the overlook motel just at the entrance from kingsmouth.

And Inferno is pretty cool too. So far the Blue Mountain one is my least favourite, but that's not to mean I dislike it.

The only dungeon I've done so far is Polaris. I really liked it. I can't find a group for any others.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

Message me whenever you see me on. We'll get a group for at least Inferno in no time.

I've done a lot of Inferno runs; it's a nice place because it's almost all bosses. I haven't done DW yet because I dipped my toe into Blue Mountain's solo quests and hated it so I went back to the previous zone.

I'll run any dungeon with you guys up to Ankh if I'm around.  Can heal or dps, just let me know.

I could probably do Polaris tomorrow night (say 6:30 Eastern or later)...if anyone wants to go on a nostalgia tip with the resident slowbie.

edit: I'm fresh out of Kingsmouth QL3 with a blue QL3 dps pistol, so not sure if I could do the room 13 dungeon or not.

Monday's are bad for me as I run a face to face rpg that night. The rest of the week I'm free and willing to do pretty much any of the dungeons though I'd prefer Ankh or later.

Now that I'm in Bee Country, I'm definately up to doing some dungeons, even ones I've outleveled.  More ability/skill points is always good.

As per usual, just msg me and if I'm free I'll join for whatever is going on. I could use some more tanking experience in dungeons to learn the fight from a non-ranged perspective

Njal and myself ran Calapine through Inferno and DW tonight and there were no puns. Sad, sad day. I expect better next time :D

Though lots of free loot for Cala and some loot later on for the pug healer we had and maybe the pug dps? I don't know I was busy not looking at who won what.

Also, free QL8 blue hammer for first one who needs it and messages me in game when I'm on that I snagged from a quick Ankh run after the F13 people logged

A few of us did Hell Fallen and Slaughterhouse last night and I think we had a great time. Nobody knew what to do in Slaughterhouse so we were figuring it out as we went along. Some fun fights and not too hard:)

Im never in the damn channel thanks to the chat bugs, but have tanked the first 3 instances happily multiple times and always ready to do them again for folks. Theoretically geared for tanking the fourth as have blue Qlevel 6 tanking gear now.

It's mostly group chat as some people don't have mics, but there are 1-2 vents and 1 TS3 channel that F13 groups have used. It mostly just depends who's on and if people are willing.
