When I logged in last night I was placed in a queue that was simply indicated as "over 20,000".

And the rolled back the new patch, which apparently caused the issues. Which is fine with me, I love the rants of "we didn't get what we were expecting when we were expecting it, I want my money back! Oh and a free champion! Oh and free IP boosters!" from 12yo who probably never paid a dime.

Client patch was rolled back. One of the reasons the downtime was so long was that they recorded all the games played so that nothing was lost.
Also, everyone gets a 10 win IP boost

Making solo players not pick last in normal draft opened up a rift into a hell dimension. |

it's funny cause this patch is a total caretaker patch. It's not doing anything drastic at all, except melting their servers.

Yeah, I can't figure out what this patch was supposed to have done that could have been this much of a colossal fuckup. Changing that queue ordering thing shouldn't have been that big a deal... right? They added some new artwork for some of the base champs, but really there just wasn't that big a change.

The queue is only 3hrs 50mins, stop bitching. I mean really, thats why I log in before I go to work in the morning.. when I come home, I'm logged in and ready to go!
