You want to continue your economics class?
Yes, I think I might need it in the future...
You're thinking too far ahead, but alright. I shan't stand in your way. Come then.

>_< So rude.
They're very impassioned folks, milady. They've been hungry for niche games since forever. You could say that they are very emotionally engaged.
I see.

I suppose one cannot trust promises blindly.
Saying the right thing and delivering the right thing are two separate things, after all.
I think I'm learning more about using my money wisely.
Glad to hear it. Class is over, let us return to the castle!

Why, yes indeed.
It's certainly not empty, though. It seems like we get more servants every day?
We do? I haven't seen any. Besides, I'm all the servant you need, Princess.
I was so worried about Charlotte, after that snake bit her...

Ummm. I guess. It was not your fault. I'm sure one of the healers in her kingdom is more than capable of dealing with whatever venom is inside that sinful creature!

Weekend arrives~

Shall we play again?

Let's spend some time at the Royal Gardens. Maybe it'll help me think clearly for a bit.
The same place where the snake almost bit you? Surely nothing would go wrong, Your Highness!
You'll protect me this time, right?
I will try, Your Highness. We are heading further and futher into uncertainty. Our situation mirrors the European Union.
Uh...what Union? Is that one of our allies?
Ah, I misspoke. Come, to the Gardens we shall go. One moment while I pack something for lunch.

The Princess spends her weekend in a carefree stroll around the Royal Gardens. Thankfully, no incident occurred.

Week 5 Approaches...

...
What's wrong, Princess?
I...I'm scared. I'm not sure what's going to happen to me- being a Queen, a Lumen like my mother, I...I just don't know.
No one knows their fates, Milady. But despair leads nowhere. All we can do is be prepared. What classes shall you undertake next?

You want to do Economics class AGAIN?
Yes...numbers keep me calm somewhat.
If you say so. Very well. Shall we go, Your Highness?

Hey. Wake up.
Zzz- Ah! Oh, goodness, Your Highness! Is the class over?
Yes.
Very good, Your Highness. Did you learn a lot?
I think so. I'm ready for my next class.
Say no more.

There seem to be much emphasis on this Cavalla River. *rubs chin*
This is the first time I've heard of it actually.
Well, now you know its importance - you should fight tooth and nail to hold on to it when you are the Queen, Your Highness.
Yes, of course!

Friday night arrives...

My Lady, couriers have arrived from the Duke of Sedna.

Uh...No, my Lady. If I am not wrong, the duchy of Sedna is in Talasse. They have brought you a letter, and a gift.
'Condolences on the death of', 'deeply regret', 'best wishes'...
Ah, I've unwrapped the package. A most beautiful box, Princess.

Elodie carefully opens the small box.

Oh! What a beautiful necklace!
My, that must be very expensive. I wonder if there is any significance...
So shiny~!

Then you should wear it, My Lady.
Yes, of course!

I wish to attend the weekend service.
Ah. Perhaps that will set your mind at ease.

Attending the services in the castle grove seems to have calmed the Princess' heart some what.

Week 6

Morning, Princess. How do you feel this morning?
Is there any news from Charlotte yet?
I'm afraid not. But I'm sure she's fine.
If only I had stayed calm then... She might've...
Your Highness, please put that incident behind you, and move on.

Without her doting mother, and her father's lack of emotions, the Princess succumbs to loneliness.

Now which classes should she go for?

Agree with Azure for the weeks schedule, Court Manners and yet more Court Manners.
And since I tend to sleep through one or two updates in a row I'll just add that I think she needs more Intrigue skills, both Internal and Foreign if you get her out of this Lonely Mood.

A very good choice. Those are things you cannot do without when you are Queen.

Friday evening arrives...

It's the Duchess of Ursul. Maybe I should go and say hello.

Elodie notices that seated beside her is a woman in the robes of a priestess. They are very close together, their hands gently touching as they speak.

*From the bushes* Oh yeah, baby. Don't stop, man. This is hot.
What are you doing?
Uh- reconnaissance, Your Highnesss?
You're not fooling anyone! Come on, let's leave them alone.
Ummm, of course.

Sorry guys, the other forum wanted to keep her mood as it is -

You wish to visit that boring lady again?
I want to know more about my Lumen Crystal.
But things are going rather well at the moment, what with your court manners improving and such...
...
Fine.

Later at the Duchess' Chambers...

How do I find my Lumen crystal?
Your father probably knows what happened to it.
What if he destroyed it?
They can't be destroyed. He could throw it away, but then someone else might find it. No, he'll keep it safe.
But if it's mine, it wouldn't matter if someone found it?
It's attuned to you, but you haven't bonded with it yet. If it founds a compatible host, someone who was like you in some way, it could bond to them.
I see.

The Princess whiles away the weekend.

Very impressive, Princess. Keep it up and you'll be a Queen in no time.
You really think so?
Uhm...perhaps work on your charms a bit more, more...lady-like. You know?
Ah, stop teasing me!
I was not. Let's have your afternoon meal before heading to your next class shall we?

How was it?
I've a long way to go. I only know the basics for now.
Mmm, these things take time to master. You should treasure your youth a bit more. Ah, we've arrived at the castle!

Hey, you, clear the path, Her Highness is walkin-

Kya~
Your Highness!

Are you alright?! YOU FOOL! YOU COULD'VE HARMED HER!

Your Highness, say the word. And I shall execute this foolish servant for her mistake! After I do some wonderful things to her of course. Fu fu fu~

I wish to speak with my father. I think it's time I hold the Lumen Crystal.
His Majesty would not like this, but I cannot stop you, Princess.

Can I have it?
No.
But..it's mine!
Meddling with magic killed your mother. I don't want to happen to you.
But DAD-
Once you're crowned Queen, I can't stop you from doing anything you want, but for now you are still a child. Now leave me, I've court business to conduct.
...

Elodie's persistence seems to have affected her mood somewhat. She becomes more determined. Willful +1

Don't rush it, Your Highness. Come let's enjoy the nice weekend ahead of us.

Friday Evening

Oooh, a Kickstarter!

I wonder who could it be?

Huh. How much are we talking about?

What possible benefits could this bring?

I don't know, man. Does it have stretch goals?
Well, I've been thinking about this for a long time, the design documentations is all there. Why don't Your Highness take a look? We just need the funding...

Consider your venture funded, Brian. In one condition!
Uh, we've a lot of ideas - we're willing to listen to yours, too.

I don't see a problem with that. It's a deal. Thank you for financing my venture.

Weekend arrives...
I wonder if I did the right thing.
Well, you've pledged the money, you won't know the results until it's out. Perhaps they might give periodic updates to ease your worries. This Brian seems to know what he's doing...

I wish to see Julianna. She may know a way to get my Lumen Crystal back.
As you wish.

No time? Is there some kind of ancient evil that Lumens must face?
This world is filled with dangers, and you will need the powers of a Lumen to fight them. You can't begin training until you have bonded with your crystal.
What do you suggest I do about it?
The crystal is probably held under guard in the Royal Treasury. You are the princess; you should be able to find a way inside.
You are overestimating her authority. She's just 14, why would they let her in there?
Hmm. Otherwise we might have to take drastic action.
I see no reason why we should rush this. The Princess is taking steps to becoming a better Queen, day by day she learns more. Why can't she wait until she is older before she becomes a Lumen?
No, it's alright....I'll...find a way.
Are you sure, Elodie?

I blame the meta-gamers who played the 10-week limit demo.
However. They did not purchase the game therefore, once we go beyond week 10...the consensus will start to split into the realm of unknown.
I've seen bits and pieces myself, it's complicated skill checks and all (some scenarios have sub decisions within decisions. There's one with 5 choices even. Hence...this game is AWESOME in my book.) I really doubt people can get it right the first time.

The fun begins once these meta-gamers fail when trying to 'win' the game.  why so serious?
Apologies if it seems to have F13 participation nullified. But I'm sure you can have a more noticeable effect in later scenarios.
If you wish, you can view the scene on the other forum to gauge where to cast the votes better.
