Well, ready for classes? Weekend IS over, you know.

......... what the heck is that suit supposed to be?
Like it? The spymaster gave it to me. He says...the monocle will make it easier for me to detect forgery and deceit.
Uh. If you say so. Perhaps you need time to develop before the suit..becomes...uh..effective.
Huh Whatever. Let's go.

Being a general isn't easy.
Not to mention the basics won't help you much. I hope you intend to further this study even more.
Perhaps I will.

The weekday classes end and they both return to the castle.

Oh my.
This isn't really a surprise; he was very old. The problem is the political implication - due to succession.
Not an assassination plot is it?
With the control of Elath in doubt, it falls to us to make decisions.
A decision? Regarding what actually?
Young Lord Aldair will not reach his fifteenth birthday for over two years. He requires a regent. His stepmother, Arisse, the Duchess of Lillah, has petitioned that the boy be left in her care.
Nothing wrong with leaving the boy with his legitimate mother.
This would, however, leave her in personal control of two neighboring duchies, which is generally forbidden.

Does your monocle help, Your Highness?

The boy does have a living grandfather, the Earl of Ishtar. Or you might appoint an unrelated noble to act in his stead.
Hmm...

Anything is better than that Magic outfit she had before...

Also, send the lad to his grandfather.

Continuing your military education seems to be the best route for now. I hope you like logistics.

The classes end.

There is a woman here to see you. She is a musician and wishes Crown patronage.
Which means money.
Eh...let's have a look at her first, shall we?

Oh my.
I have dabbled in musical styles from many countries, and can entertain your guests and lighten your evenings.
Err, what do you think, Your Highness?

The musician plays a little song to demonstrate her skills.

Uh..if you wish to employ her, I do not mind one bit. It's your decision.

Given how she's dressed up to distract rk47 from his guard duties I can only assume she's here to assassinate our poor gal.

Reject her.

How is the dungeon rebuilding efforts?
Wardens have reported most of the escaped prisoners are caught...
And the escaped magician?
We are...unable to locate that individual.
Fine. Let's inspect the dungeon.

I won't let the walls be destroyed ever again.
Yes, Your Highness.

I should finish my magical training first.
Wise choice.

Good job, Princess. Feel it flowing through you...every single midichlorian cells empowering your blood to project the Force.
George, are you saying this...magical ability is an inborn thing?
Well, it differs from person to person, I would say some have less...some have more. Some have very negligible midichlorian count so it won't matter how much training we give them.
So what happens if ...uh..others drink their blood?
You are one sick puppy, bro. Now let's move on to the next training.

Now this. Is a laser sword. Careful, it cuts through anything.
Wow.
Use with care, Princess. May the Force be with you.

Later at the Castle...
A letter from Young Lord Adair.
Ah, the one we sent to his grandfather last week.

I'm glad he's happy.
Yeah, at least he sounded - happy. How shall we spend the weekend, Princess?

Ok. So you need a breather. Let's go then.

That would be pretty boring to radicalthon, IMO.  It's basically a series of diary entries you read to find out what happened a hundred years ago.  I thought it was a neat experience, but since about 95% of it is just straight up reading text entries, I can't imagine it translating well to this format.

EDIT: If you're looking for another game like Long Live the Queen, Magical Diary is probably a closer match.

Man it's gonna take a while to finish this playthrough and I'm going to stay over at my parents soon (for around 2 weeks for breaks). I don't really want my parents to see their 29 year old son playing this.  why so serious?

I guess it's time for my military dress...
Go for it, Your Highness! I can't wait~ Uguu~
You're scaring me.

Later, at the military school..

Hello, kids! Name's Mitch Buchannon, I've been a driver, a coast guard, and a talent contest judge. And I'm here to teach you the basics of naval strategy.
We're doomed.
?

And remember class: nothing beats a good photo shoot after daily coast guarding is over. Stay safe, stay wet and wild. And Princess, here's your military dress. I think the red suits you.
Thank you, sir.
Please, just call me Mitch.
Whatever, Bitch. Let's go, Princess. Try that military dress on!

At the castle...

Oh, what's that?
Wait, I almost forgot! Put on this TUXEDO!
What are you- MMmpphmm

Get off me!

You almost made me miss the falling star...
Sorry, Princess. I just had to try.

Weekend

(Not good. The Princess is starting to forget her goals...I must make sure she stay focused...)
What is it, this time?
Wow, I wonder how much money we have left in the reserves after that prison break we had!
Hmm. I suppose I can give it a look.

Top hat detected. You're cleared for entry, Your Majesty.
Hmph.

A weekend was spent calculating the funds.

The current balance is... 4870 gold lassi and five silver tilassi.

Week 26

Alright... I think I've buttoned it up right. How do I look?

Majestic.
... Your stare disgusts me. Postpone your death sentence by scheduling the next classes.
Affirmative, my Dear General.
