It's ok, once the last of the Baby Boomer celebs are dead we'll have ~20 years of not caring until the first Gen Y's start dying, since Gen X doesn't matter.  Rite?

I'm Gen X, working in a newsroom. Just corrected a Gen Y intern's caption "Bee Gees singer Ron Gibb". Sigh.
