I assume most everyone is reaching the end of Normal mode about now. What are your plans now? Taking the same character through Nightmare, Inferno, etc..? Starting another class? A combination of the two? Some people might even just be done after taking through one class.

I ask this because with D2, I only ever took three classes through Normal and then through maybe Act 1 of Nightmare before I got bored. These three playthroughs were probably 2 years apart from each other.

I'm very mysterious when I'm inside you.

I've taken a monk through normal into the start of nightmare, a wizard to 25, another wizard to 20 (playing with a group of friends -- think we may finish the game with this set of characters), and a demon hunter to 16.  Right now I may be a little burnt out on D3, but I am interested in playing more nightmare -- even on the first playthrough, normal didn't feel terribly challenging (though it did get harder through acts 2 and 3.

I like that I'm still running into new bits of content on subsequent playthroughs that I didn't see before.  I expect I'll be playing it on and off for a while.

Onwards towards Inferno with my "main" and leveling up other characters to play with various groups of friends.

Trying out the other classes to see which one I like the most. Finished Monk yesterday and am working on Demon Hunter currently.

Probably some coop with friends and after a few sessions the game will fade out and be forgotten.

I'm slowly half-assing my way through nightmare on my DH, but I'm going to start half-assing my alts up through normal so they can start equipping the nice loots my DH keeps finding for them.

Going to try and get that staff for the secret level.  I'll invite some friends once and then probably not play it again until an expansion pack.  Are they still doing expansion packs actually?

Finding cool loot is one of the things that keeps my trying other classes... and burning gold to increase my stash... saving up for the 200k upgrade to the third page now.

Just wanted to chime in here to confirm you cannot enter Hell until level 50.  Just duo'd act IV with Malakili(barbarian getting beat on while he kites like a pro)

I have Hell unlocked now but I can't select yet.

My Witch Doctor is in Hell now, and I will be slowly working up to 60. I need gear. Resist gear, vitality.

I will level up other characters too. My barb is 19? I think and I plan on making them all.

I love this game.

Got through normal as a WD and rolled a monk.

Now I am pining for my WD.  Will probably start working my way through Nightmare now.

Am finding nightmare a lot more enjoyable than normal even if it isn't that much harder. For one thing loot is actually getting good now, and boss monsters and packs can be surprisingly tricky.

Going through therapy for my barbarian addiction. I hated this character when I first started... But I'll probably keep going with her for a bit into nightmare.

I am playing through Nightmare, and the difficulty really ramps up.  I was suprised at how hard some of the junk boss mobs have been.  That being said I am enjoying the ride through Nightmare just as much as my original trip.  My plans right now is to maximize +gold find, +magic find, and +dex, with a smattering of +vitality where I can find it.  As I find items that are decent (I found a 53 Two handed axe with about seven stats on it today)I am auctioning heavily to fund my AH addiction.  I am using the gold I find to AH more and I am hoping that soon I will be about as buff as you can be and to ride that all the way into hell mode.

I'm taking a wizard through NM at the moment, grouping with various people in the process. It seems to be a lot harder grouped than solo, but better loot and more fun :)

Also leveling a DH with a friend who's playing a barbarian. He's never played this kind of game before and really enjoying it. We hit Act III lastnight and spent a fair amount of time just marveling at the epic feel of it and the Omaha Beach atmosphere.

My alt-itis has kicked in however and I'm also playing a monk and a baby WD every now and again. My barb is still level 1 but not for long I'm sure!  why so serious?

I'm duoing nightmare with a buddy of mine. We duoed my barb and his DH all the way through normal. Also, F13ers periodically drop in. Muffin stops by often and I've seen Ruvaldt and Merusk.

Yep, was fun hitting things with you guys last night.

My plans are to slowly work through Nightmare in F13 or public groups.  Nowhere near the marathon "must plow through" sessions that I did normal mode in.   I'll be working through normal on a monk with the wife and I started up a hardcore witch doctor as well.

I figure since it's free, I'm nowhere near "top of the ladder" and there's no raid content to push towards this is something I can keep playing when I get bored and come back to for a long, long time.

Funniest part so far was when the F13ers show up my friend the DH says, "Oh look ANOTHER wizard. How many of those guys rolled wizards?"

Yeah, the initial class thread seemed to indicate we'd have a TON of monks & barbs a good number of DH and relatively few wizards. In practice, not so much.

I have people mocking me because I have two scarf wearin' douchebags now (and a third for HARDCORE but he doesn't count because he will die in the Belial fight).  Heartbreak

It's looking like my second character to finish normal will be my wizard, though.

I imagine once I finish normal, I'll just end up finishing it with another character before getting too far in Nightmare.  I keep waffling between liking my WD or DH more.  WD got a hell of a lot less annoying when you pick up the Zombie Humungus. DH is just more brains off while playing and her abilities synergize a lot better at this point in time.

I'm hearing the pets eventually become ineffective - not seeing that so far but I'm only in Act 1 NM.

I'm having trouble with them in Hell. Tired of dying to every blue pack I see.

Started a new monk. I am Babalicious hear me ROAR. I feel invincible. Part of that's due to being in normal and part of it's due to monkiness.

I haven't reached the end of normal yet. I periodically have to level up other classes if I want to use those class specific drops my main gets after all. I guess after I finish once with my main character, I move on to Torchlight 2. Thats what I did with Torchlight 1. The loot doesn't look interesting enough to warrant loot pinata mode yet. Maybe that changes.

I began Nightmare but am damn curious about hardcore, so I rolled another Barb in hardcore - male this time. The spitting is discerning as an idle animation, but the voice is fitting. I am finding that my finger does not stray too far from the health pot button now and I am watching my health a hell of a lot more.  awesome, for real

I'll probably continue with him till I die or complete normal, then start nightmare in earnest.

Probably keep playing until Torchlight 2 hits shelves. Somehow it doesn't grip me like Diablo/Diablo 2 LOD did back in the day. Too many things that just don't feel right.

Either they should have done a real char progression like in Diablo2 where I skill the attributes and talents or they should have made it easier to switch setups I could use to or three presets on my DH (custom boss fight, crowd control, kiting/single purples yellows) with out the hassle to manually switch it around every fucking time.
