This is a lengthy article on a girl named Sarah J. Phillips that writes a page 2 article or two for ESPN. It's pretty damned interesting and makes for a lot of speculation on what the hell is really going on. I won't spoil the article for you, but I'll give you a teaser (she's supposedly the one on the guy's left): Honestly, this thing reads like a Goon scam.

I'm lost. That may be the longest pointless article in history.

When she crossed over, she was just a ship. But when she came back... she was bullshit!

tldr; Someone who may or may not have been a hot chick has an improbable career as an online columnist for sports betting, winds up at ESPN.com, apparently scams someone else out of their sports meme site (and several thousand dollars).

Yep, some fairly sophisticated con artists do a fairly good job of conning a one person out of a comedy sports web page and another out of several thousand dollers. She wrote on sports gambling and this landed her work as a freelancer at ESPN which gave her some clout, which she used to convince Mr Web page that when he was talking to her boyfriend he was actually talking to a high up on ESPN. ESPN reads the article and terminates her freelance status the same day. And the guy gets his sports comedy site back the same day. Other linked articles say that her boyfriend is really the person pulling her strings. Oh and that's not actually her in the pic on the op. This is them, apperently

So, basically, like most of the shit on the Internet.

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.
