Google's cloud service, Google Drive has been released. I'm still trying to figure out if there is anything there to pull me away from DropBox. Sure, it comes with more space out of the gate but I don't think I'd ever run out anyways. Two deal breakers so far, no Windows context menus and no direct linking to images. Except for Gmail and Maps it seems Google just falls short for me on everything, every time.

I don't know about you, but I want to give google even MORE of my information, when they say in the privacy policy flat out that they will be indexing and using anything you upload to better pinpoint your interests. Even if you do own the intellectual property.
You can't even make it a truecrypt volume because it doesn't do bit-level change syncing. Until there is an encryption container implementation that does a lot of little block-level files, all these cloud drives continue to be worthless to me.

It does also mean your limit for non-Google format items in Google Docs goes up to 5GB from 1GB, so that's nice if you use Google Docs.

It seemed like a lot happened today between Google Drive, Skydrive, and Gmail. Gmail's data storage got bumped to 10 gigs.
