Well, no, but I got the whole Peggy reference. I was more confused by the coupons than I was the joke.

It didn't end up that safe for your parents, why do you think it would be any different for you?

Bumping this thread, because I didn't want to start a thread based on rumor and couldn't find this discussed anyplace else..

RUMOR: Valve working on "Steam Box" console

Quote
Valve is said to be working on hardware and software specifications for a "Steam Box;" which will actually be a unified console standard available to interested hardware manufacturers, rather than a specific console produced by Valve itself.
Quote
The hardware backbone is currently said to be an Intel Core i7 with eight gigs of RAM and an Nvidia GPU. Devices built on the standard will reportedly run any PC title, and will also support other digital distribution platforms like EA's Origin service.

I'm surprised nobody cares about this.  Even though it appears pipe dreamish.

When I first read this rumor, The Phantom was actually the first thing that came to mind.

Speaking of Coupons, as my broke ass has a hankering for Age of Empires, anyone happen to have an AoEIII or Microsoft coupon?

Steam has been throwing out new coupons to people.  Got one myself two days ago (can't remember what it was, will post here when I get home).

Ah, so they are. 50% off Assassin's Creed Revelations, through April Fools.
Well, on the plus side that's a recent game still listed at $50.
But still meh for Steam coupons. Patience = sale on anything anyway, and like most I have a backlog to play.

I got the same 3 coupons and i already own the damn game.  Marketing fail.  (yeah i know the intent was probably for me to give to friends but adding an extra layer of action a consumer must take before getting a discount would seem to make it more unlikely.  Plus, other than giving my a warm glow for giving my coupons to someone else, it doesnt benefit me at all)

I've got 2 Assassins Creed Revelation coupons. Since I only buy games I don't immediately want at 75% sales, whoever needs one is welcome to it.
