I know there's a few people on the forums who serve or have served.

Thank you.

We had around 10,00 show up to the one I was at yesterday in Calgary, held at The Military Museums.  I didn't get to see or hear much of it since I was involved in traffic control and set up/tear down but it was great see so many people, and this was just one of many ceremonies held throughout the city.

I spent the day at the Larue Tactical Range Day today and saw something truly awesome.  One of the stages was a timed event, and the fastest time of the day would win the Larue OBR used on this season of Top Shot.  The winner was a wounded veteran that put up a goddamn impossibly fast time, and when presented with his prize at the end of the day announced that as he had bought himself an OBR a few days prior ($2-3k+), he would be donating the $5k+ prize package to the Wounded Warrior project, as they helped him when he was injured and he would rather they use it to raise money to help more of those injured in the line of duty.
Hell of an awesome thing to witness.
