To The Moon is an indie RPG/adventure game about two doctors traversing through a dying man's memories to fulfill his last wish.

While it is described as an adventure game, it is more like an interactive experience.

With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. And as the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a life time, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is.

And Johnny's last wish is, of course. . . to go to the moon.

A beautiful story told through an adventure game set to an excellent original soundtrack. It runs between 4 and 5 hours of play and is a touching story. I laughed, and yes, I even cried. Well worth picking up. It was just released on November 1.

If you aren't sure whether or not you'd like it, there's a one hour demo of the game. Definitely give it a try.

Yes. Which I usually dislike, but this is really all about the story. Minimal gameplay.

That's a broad generalization.

Just putting it out there for those who don't care for the genre. Sounded great until I watched 30 seconds of the video.

I don't mind if it looks like a jrpg, as long as it doesn't play like one, which this appears to avoid.

Yes. It's more of a movie than a game. The bits of gameplay move the story along.

Just went through this in about 4 hours. Really nicely done story, even if it does involve potato people, it still works out fairly well. Really liked it (especially at the sale price).
