I'm going to ramp up my fundraising this weekend.

Alright, so...

Any particular requirements for the photo, besides having shaven? Do I need to take one every day?

Clean shaven and Borat thong are all that are needed, I believe.

I've got the Trucker 'stache going, figure I'll take a picture once a week.

I've updated the OP with the names of the F13ers partaking in the challenge and the links to their page. If I've missed you let me know.

Hope you don't mind Murdoc, but I updated your original post. Thought the thread title could use a bit more clarity to try and get people who don't know what Movember is into the thread so we can get more donations. Added Ab's link too.

You might want to have a running total at the top for the two teams combined, which is $985 right now. We're almost at $1000 and it's only the 4th!

I'm also willing to update the OP for you if you want.

Update the OP as much as you like. I like having the combined total up there, too.

My challenge has hit a snag. I am clean shaven again and may have to approach this from "a beard for 26 days, 'tache for one" angle.

Basically, it's that or divorce. And I wish I was kidding.  Ohhhhh, I see.

That was my reaction. It didn't help. The strength of feeling about the issue took me by surprise. On the plus side, listed amongst the alternatives that she'd prefer was a sponsored run.

I'm wondering if he proposed that he connect his handlebar moustache to his chest hair.

I'm hoping by day 30 I actually have something I can call a moustache.

Hey man, that's breaking the rules! If I have to look this ridiculous for a month you should too.

I've been contemplating having a sorta business card I could hand out when I get the question (or more likely a quizzical look) that had some info and my homepage address on it. Anyone enterprising and graphically gifted want to take a shot at designing one for me?

It should be card shaped like a moustache so you can hold it up to your face before you hand it to them.

Fixed. I had changed my MoBro link. Thanks for the heads up.

http://ca.movember.com/mospace/downloads/ - They have business cards that personalize themselves when you access the download page from your profile.

Edit: The only downside to most of their customized stuff is that it's very muted on what exactly Movember is. I understand that it promotes people asking you and giving you the opportunity to explain beyond printed words, but it would still be nice to see something about Prostate Cancer.

I think your card should reflect the team name and general attitude by being a replica of Ron Swanson's face.   awesome, for real  I think that is a great idea though, and something I would like to partake in if we get a good design.

Keep them in a bag of bacon to infuse the aroma into the card.

Unfortunately I have to renege - pretty much an unspoken rule that if you're going to go with facial hair, do it while you're on leave or something. I'm going into my new position and will be out in front a bit sooner than I thought, and since my facial hair is Terrible, there shall be no 'stache for me.

I look forward to seeing everyone else's progress.  Ohhhhh, I see.

I was going to do weekly updates, but there is a party tonight so I will get one in early.

Fucked up my back, going as a death row serial killer, and badly need a haircut... will be... special...

Also I don't think NiX is actually doing this. His face is cleaner than my dishes.

Daily updates will do that. It's much harder to see the change. It should get a bit better by the middle of next week. Usually at about 5-6 days unshaved it goes from blonde and barely visible to brown and disgusting.

My stache had reached junior-high levels of awesomeness. I'll be posting a picture on Sunday.
