These guys need to work on how they word things. When you click on the donation button the wording makes it look like they are donating to the person, not to the organization.

I sent out an email soliciting donations to a bunch of people including friends and a few colleagues. My 70 year old mother in law then took it upon herself to Reply All saying how the stache made me look like a sexy Zorro. This will not end well.

I'm onsite at a remote drilling location doing some work and the guys supplied me with a mesh back cap to go with the trucker 'stache.

Now you just need a the beater to go along with it. Mine has turned gradient on me going from dark to light as it moves out from under my nose. It looks so weird. |

We are approaching $2,000 people.... Good job! Seriously, I was thinking we would be lucky to hit $1000, but we're powering our way to $2000. Friend I met during my commutes to work when I used to live far away just donated $100. The email he sent explaining why had me all teary eyed at work. Damn charity! Edit: Girlfriend turned to me last night and admitted she liked the 'stache. Even asked if I would consider keeping it after the month is over. Was also hoping for suggestions to try and wrangle some F13 posters into donating. Ideas? |
