I just don't think they drink enough. Plus in Portland no one wants to commit to anything that even closely resembles structure lest they destroy their little angel's spirit. We, on the other hand, gave Zephyr a 7:00-7:30 bedtime at 5 months old (which we still stick to!) and have routines for every minute of his day (including "free play") so he is basically the easiest toddler in the world. Which is to say he's only exhausting instead of exhausting and a total asshole.
