I feel bad for his family and friends Heartbreak...but he was horrible as an owner of an NFL team and for the league in general.

If you take into account his whole history, and not his most recent history (5-6 years) he was fantastic for football and the league.  We wouldn't be here today with the NFL if it wasn't for him.

That's horcruxes for the D&D impaired.

Was he a Demi-Lich or had he gone full-on?

Meh, answered my own question.

Actually I believe the deal he signed stated his team must do poorly, certainly explained his draft picks.  The Raiders are playoff bound this year.

RIP you crazy old bastard.

Now, the "rule of three" gets interesting as we have had two famous people from the bay area who were known for wearing black all the time dying. Will famous person number 3 also be known for living in the bay area and wearing black a lot?

The 3rd was a Civil Rights icon who had the misfortune of dying on the same day as Jobs and was subsequently shoved aside by the fellation of Jobs.

RIP Reverend Shuttlesworth.

Necromancy has nothing to do with sports.

Unless, of course, you're wondering how the Lions are 4-0.

I had to google horcrux, even though I know what a phylactery is. Not a HP fan though.

The media coverage of this seems so strange.  The very same people that blasted Davis for tight control of his club are now praising him for 'being involved in all apsects'.  Apparently the truth changes when people die?

No because it will pass to his family, who make up most of the executive staff of the Bungles as it is. (Katie Blackburn is Mike's Daughter.) Cincinnati will suck until the Brown family sells the franchise or the city decides, "Know what, we're tired of subsidizing your family. Go ahead and move."

Raiders will be in the Super Bowl in 3 years. AD was holding them back as well as he could, but now their path is open.
