Your screenshot says you have a TV of 1140 without the cash, rerolls, apo, etc.  Or am I missing something?

The Curent TV shows what Iainc will go into the next match with but he has 2 miss next game injuries that are greyed out worth another 190 worth of TV  - when they are back it will take him over the 1300 limit

I need to have 11 players minimum. The only way I can see to make it work is to play another game or two to try and earn enough money to replace an experienced Line-Elf with a rookie one. That's not guaranteed to work however as there's a chance I'll level up some more players before I earn at least 70k and add further to the TV as well as adding fan factor.

It's super annoying as, I had it sorted out so that I would be legal and had burnt all of my cash then I accidentally selected the wrong team when playing a feeder league match and screwed everything up.

I'll continue to play dumb here and try to call out a technicality on Falconeer's part:

What are the specific League rules?

You can only join with a team that:
- Has only ever played in the f13 Main League.
- Has participated in the f13 Feeder League (or/and) D&M pre-season Trophy) and at the moment of joining the S#5 League has a maximum of 1300TV and 0 gold.
- You just created, and has a total of 0 matches ever played.

So, 'right now', you have 1140 with two broken elfs.  Assuming you don't goof again and play another match, 'right now', you meet the requirement.  You're just gonna be hurting on that first game

If you play Ianc although his displayed TV is 1100 something when you get the matchup screen he will show as 1330 and that is the value that his opponent will use to judge the amount of inducements that they will receive/give away - i know it confused the hell out of me when I had mercenaries playing for me for a TV of less than 1000 but with my missing players my real TV was around 1400 and I was the one giving up inducements to my opponent - like they needed the help when I was playing as the pointy eared free SPP AV7 elves instead of my beloved Lizards! - least that's my understanding of it and hence regardless of what TV the roster is showing for the current active players in the roster for the purposes of the overall TV it includes everyone so it is in fact covered under the current rules.

I'm still on the fence. Really want to do another season with Chuck's Tards, but the pre-season league has shown that my playing time is total fucking shit. And given the angel of death (well, the spectre of unemployment, anyway) is hanging out at the end of October, I might have to sit out season 5. Bad timing.

Not quite. If you are under 11 fit players, the game auto-hires replacement mercs for you until you hit 11, and those are what are used to determine your TV for the matchup. Injured players aren't counting against you themselves - in this scenario Iain would go into a match with a TV of 1280 after the game replaced the two players that are out with 70k loner linemen.

Celer and Megrim are playing high elves, Andy is probably playing dark elves (Iain may also barring resolution of his wood elf dilemma), Proudft is playing khemri, Llyse is still playing necromantic I think? Pretty sure we have no Undead, Vampires, or Orcs currently, MA has switched to goblins and I suspect Sky is sitting this one out.

If Nurgle was hard, Vampire is worse.

I understand the reasoning of picking a joke team and lowering expectations. But you can do this with a better quality team and not feel utter crap...

Happy to play as many games this weekend for you to find a team that you're feel comfortable but not serious business

Yeah there is really no team that death-spirals downhill faster than Vampires, IMO. A bad first half (or first few turns) can make the rest of the game border on painfully unplayable, even if you aren't an easily frustrated person.

SirT, you were so very evidently unhappy in both of the last two seasons that I really think you'll probably be happier not playing.

Possibly I will get yelled at by Falc for discouraging a person towards the magic 32 but from everything you've posted about every game you've played I honestly don't understand why you're even considering it again. Maybe you were actually having a grand time and I just don't understand or something.
