Update: Some of you have expressed interest in when Dominion will be available worldwide, and we wanted to respond to that directly. While we take a “when it’s ready” approach to our feature releases, you will be able to play Dominion in a nearly complete state at GamesCom (August 17-21) in Europe and at PAX Prime (August 26-28) in North America.
League of Legends: Dominion will make it into your daily play schedule shortly after PAX.
Emphasis mine. One would assume that after the last new map going permanently MIA, they are a bit more sure this time. |

If its going to be playable at gamerscon and pax baring some nasty bug being found it should get released sometime in September or Oct.

GameSpy Preview- 5v5, smallish map - hero's start at lvl 3 with 1350 gp - Some new items, snowball items and banshee's removed - Your nexus is counting down health from the start of the game, capturing nodes slows the countdown - limits how long the game can last sounds good to me!

Looks fun, with all the running around though I wonder how well the squishier support heroes will do compared to more tanky ones.

Arathi was always my favorite battleground in wow so I'm really looking forward to this. Not sure how it'll play with Morgana but they were talking of a lot more class balancing so we'll see.
