Some days I wonder at the complete inability of some people to detect sarcasm and it's many brothers and sisters In the Wild.  Then I remember this is the general masses I am pondering about, and wander off in search of something strong to drink.

My sister recently had a professor tell everyone in class that The Onion was a reliable source (he wasn't fucking with them).

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

I wish I had a pound for every time I saw someone quoting Kelly's work as genuine, right-wing political cartoons.

Hopefully she withdrew from the class before brain damage could occur?

No, but I don't think anyone corrected him, so there is an opportunity for comedy, at least.

In some of those, I don't think the person actually believed it, for instance:

Given no other information to go on, I'm assuming he's just asking WTF is up with the article, not freaked out that a 800 Foot Osama Bin Laden rampaged across New York and destroyed it.  I get that vibe from a few of them.  Though there is still a whole hell of a lot of  Facepalm in there.

I haven't been to the onion in awhile.  I can't stop laughing at this:
