Romero can get away with being bad at communication. Many people look to him as a god.

I think it's more of he looks upon himself as a god, and some people follow along.

If he had done anything worth a second glance since Quake 1, it might be justified.  Though I didn't play Anachronox or Daikatana.  Wasn't one good and one abysmal or something?

Someday I want there to be a poll on how honest the devs are about their game's creation status.

Usually you get some bullshit response that will supposedly sustain the masses.

Though Darkfall is still something I am willing to wait for because it looks REALLY good. And until then..we have Guild Wars.
