2/8 Scheduled Realm Maintenance - Update | 2/8/2005 11:56:02 AM PST
An issue was discovered during the scheduled maintenance of the following 20 realms. They will be brought back online shortly, but will require further maintenance at a later time. We currently do not have an ETA on this future maintenance, but will provide more information as it becomes available. For more updates, please visit the Realm Status forum on WorldofWarcraft.com. We apologize for the short notice, as this was a sudden development. We will continue to work throughout the day to provide frequent updates.

I can say this for the flighty Bat Country: you sure can pick a good server to abandon! Earthen Ring has been pretty solid.
I was going to start a pvp alt (alliance, ecch) to hang out with Rhyssa's bunch, looks like Illidan was spared as well.
