Although this is an extreme example, it's really why I got into the habit a while ago with not letting myself get too invested in any game that required an outside license. It's just a matter of sooner or later will it be pulled -- not if.
LOTRO so far being the big exception -- at least it's been later for them.

I was going to re-install and play over the last weekend, but then the rum wore off.
