I know a few people who used to work there, they loved the place. Probably a pretty neat work environment.

But that Captain's salami tray was tight, yo. You plump for the roast pork loin, dogg?

If you get hired you are required to punch Matt Marcou in the dick. Their support of competitive play is so fucking bad.

Bah, you totally qualify. They're looking for people to write articles, not code code their billing system. Two years creating content for the web: you can point to your "contributor" tag. Familiarity with HTML: it's easy to learn, and if you don't have time, you can fake it easily (just sigh and roll your eyes theatrically whenever someone mentions Internet Explorer, and if someone speaks the phrase "blink tag" punch them as hard as you can until they stop moving). Grab a Twitter account or something and you're set. I'd give it a shot, but I suspect they require you to be able to commute to their office in LA.

Assuming I'd move out there on a whim and could "jive" people up about League of Legends all day using my "hep" modern language skills, what's the best way to give it a shot?

If this can work from the Dublin office rather than the LA site I might know a lot of people interested in this.

That seems unlikely due to the extreme time differential.

Think the commute from Wisconsin would be a bit of an issue unfortunately.

I also know a guy who used to work there, and he agrees that it was a fantastic place to work.

Yeah, I wouldn't move to California for this and they likely wouldn't pay enough to make it worthy my while.

Yea, I hear Mississippi is fat nice this time of year, so I can see why that would be your attitude towards it.
Seriously, don't post in the thread just to say stuff like that. Trying to help people find a job in the worst economy since your Grandpa called us Carpet Baggers.
