I'm curious to see where everyone is and what you've got cooking. I thought this might help some of the newer people find people they're looking for.
Right now I have two characters I'm playing:
On the Shadowsong server: Rasix, 60th Troll Shaman (mining/blacksmithing/armorsmithing). Lexanik, 22nd Undead Rogue (skinning/leatherworking).
59 is a big bitch. I think I've gotten the rogue from 15-21 in the same time I've only gone 2/3 into 59. I've basically ran out of soloable quests and my friends after hitting 60 have taken some time off. I don't blame them though, we propelled ourselves pretty fast towards the end. We pushed hard enough that one of my friends had to put a cut off time on when he's allowed to play during the week. We've stalled somewhat on pushing for bigger and better gear as none of us is really looking forward to long instance crawls with complete fucking rejects. Again, I think we just need time to heal from all of the catassing we did.
We've got a group of 3 going but we're looking for 2 more. Could use a warrior, priest or whatever. So any dedicated catasses out there that want some free shit and to hang out with a bunch of assholes, let me know.
Ohh, and we formed a guild named "Murk" (our talbard has a nice cthulu'ish squid) so people would stop bugging us with invites. It works out well and only cost us like 7 gold in bribes.
So, what's everyone else doing, you dirty elf lovers?

Just got back from a business trip to the gulf and I'm itching to play.
I had 200g waiting for me in auctions on my main (blue gun L50+ sold for 144g).
My three characters are:
Cerrano Orc Rogue L56 Taboo UD Mage L24 Dudits Troll Hunter L22
They're all on Kel'Thuzad server. I'm currently working off my rest exp on my mage as I want to get him up a bit before playing my rogue more. I'm still a bit burnt on getting him up to 56.

Server: Perenolde Character: Lynch, 35 Human combat rogue
I'm pretty much the epitome of the casual player, so I'm not too high level at all. Plus, I spend a lot of time fucking around exploring areas I probably am too low level for, farming for cash and playing stockmarket with the AH.
I've got a couple other characters (18 and 15) on a PvP server (Nathrezim), but after I convinced all the guys I know to ditch EQ2 and come to WoW they all wanted to go to a PvE server first to get a handle on the game. I imagine I'll end up on the PvP server, but so far the Perenolde has been good enough. I've done my fair share of PvP and haven't had to suffer through the grief of everyone that outlevels me with ease.
Probably my biggest complaint is that we picked a server with an unreasonable amount of Alliance. I wish we'd gone to the horde side, but by the time I realised that Alliance grossly outnumbered Horde I wasn't willing to start from scratch yet again.

Earthen Ring 33 Troll Rogue skinning/leatherworking 20 Undead Mage Tailoring/Enchanting
Played a bunch over the weekend with my main- had about a week of blue XP, so I shot up like 3.5 levels. Have been soloing or running with my RL buds (30 warrior and 30 druid); we occasionally play our alts together too. Currently questing in Desolace, but I might head back to Hillsbrad to blow through Dun Garok and finish all the quests there.

Still on Mannoroth (PvP), Alliance side, Warrior midget named Kadath and currently level 47.
Feeling more and more the need of a more cooperating and solid guild instead of loot/ganking whores.

Dragonmaw:
29 Dwarven priest - herb/alch (he's in the duo with my brother's warrior) 12 Human Paladin - mining/eng (he's on hold for a bit as I enjoy my druid more) 15 NE Druid - nothing/nothing (cut me some slack, only NE can be druids :P ) 22 Gnome Mage - nothing/nothing (deleted, wasn't my cup of tea)
Right now me and my bro have been tearing up ashenvale ganking hordes as they go about their business. We've killed tonnes in even and uneven fights (including one classic one where we totally pwned a 31 shaman, and 29 rogue when we were 27... we even had a stare-off for a while, so they had plenty of time to be ready). We have been fairly nice, only ganking one guy lower than -2 of us but that's because we were "laying siege" to the horde village on the beach there and he had an escort quest... it was just too funny to pass up. Otherwise we wave at them and let them go. We're also joined up by a rogue fairly regularly, as well as a mage and paladin sometimes. It's also fun dodging the highbies as they roam around on their horses. We had a decidedly hobbit-like moment when an undead warlock dismounted right in front of the tree we had ran behind and looked around. Luckily he was just summoning his succubus and soon took off. Got ganked a few times, but it's all good fun. PVP servers are a blast. It's so much better than the whole world being your enemy (aka. UO pre-trammel).
My druid is just leveling himself up in darkshore. Druids are pretty fun btw. I'm going for all 3 healers to see what they're like, atm I like druid the most by far for solo (my priest is built for pvp, which is also the solo build, and sometimes we do split up for gather quests, and take on seperate mobs for kill quests).
I also have my old paladin and warrior on Llane, but I'm having too much fun on a PVP server to play them. They're already gutted of gold to send to friends, and I will probably delete them soon.
EDIT: 7 gold? Jesus, it only cost us 30 silver to get our 6 additional sigs. Just go to the newbie town and /tell the newbies for the sigs. So easy, only took 1/2 hour too. Of course, being 59 I guess 7 gold aint the same hit it would have been for us when we were ~20.

I don't love no elf. I have about 5 characters, all under level 20. I don't log in very much for now. Two on Earthen Ring, Twee and Grundel, in Bat Country. One on Icecrown, Lorraine, in Seventh Calvary guild. I think that's what it's named, anyway. I'll go start one on Rasix's server now. I'm sure he'd love to power level me and give me junk because there is a chance that I might be a HOT FEM IRL.

Earthen Ring, Alliance side
50 Dwarf Priest 20 Gnome Mage
bunch of other under-10 characters
Ended up joining a small guild that then went dead as all the officers stopped playing... Finally cancelled account myself after getting annoyed with the priest and bored trying to level up the mage.

Two on Shadowsong, 22 warrior Qua and 19 priest Ardelf. Mostly Qua lately, the priest is in a place where he's got a bunch of elite quests and nobody but random tards to group with.
I'll add Rasix' new alt to my friends list. (Did I hear you abusing some poor fool in XRoads in typically WT.O language the other night?)
Butt I'm about to be out of town for a week, so you may not see me much until after the 20th.
Various chars on Earthen Ring, mid teens, not played in weeks. Last few games, every time I go to the WT.O server, I find that WT.O has left before I can find them...

Earthen Ring, 42 orc hunter, 24 orc warrior, 23 undead warlock.
Beating the hell out of stuff in SV, mostly just getting cash for the cheesy mount (only +5% run speed for my hunter...), but also grabbing a bunch of levels doing so (and leatherworking as well). My usual 'jump in for a few hours on a weeknight' gameplay.
Weekends, I'm pretty much itchin' for a tussle (goddamned liberty lad), so I hang out in the usual areas and defend the horde (I don't usually go on the offensive). Don't pve much on weekends.

If you've got a bunch of WC quests left, I can use Rasix and solo the entire place with you in tow. I haven't quite memorized the layout of the place, so it could be quite an adventure. Or if my friend is going to do it for his new druid, he could bring you along as well. Yah, I tend to abuse people lightly in Barrens general chat. Mostly I tell people the mob they want to kill is in "France" or that reading the quest description will, you know, actually tell you where the goddamn mob is. Everyonce in a while I have fun with the "your/you're" tards. Logged out with 15k to go last night. Just couldn't find the mob I needed to kill (I bet he was in France). Fuck you, Cavalier Durgen!

My main is a level 40 NE Druid on Deathwing. Lately I've been running through the first part of Scarlet Monastery hoping Doan will drop that damn Rod of his, I really need a decent staff, but after 3 tries still no luck. Other than that I've got quests going all over the place, mainly been working Stranglethorn and Desolace. I'm an Auction House junky, always looking for better goodies, so I've got like 7 gold to my name - a mount is nowhere in my future. Which is fine, I'm happy with using Cheetah to run around. Really enjoying Druid.
A few alts going, 16 Undead Priest on Cenarion Circle which I really enjoy. A 17 Orc Shaman on same which frankly I've found rather boring to play, haven't logged him in a while.

Sargares (PVP) Horde Level 54 Undead Rogue Level 35 Undead Warlock I am an officer in a pretty large guild, that me and a few other guys from beta started. Right now we are up to 120 active members with about 90 of them log in at least every other day, most every day. We uaually avarage between 20 (late at night) to 55 (prime time) players online. Our goal is to be a PVP power house and to be able to run ALL the high end raid stuff with just guild members. I would probably have hit 60 a long time ago, but guild stuff takes a lot of my time. A few people from here have joined up, and I think they enjoy it. I rent a Ventrilo server with a 50 user max, and we usually have 80-95% of the online players in vent. I am having a blast, even though running the guild is a lot of work. I am totally addicted to the game, much to the chagrin(sp?) of my girlfriend. You guys are welcome to check out our website. We just got a new server, and while the front page still loads like ass, the rest is pretty fast. www.dreadguard.com

Sargeras (PVP) 27 Rogue
My roommate and I joined up with Morphiend's guild on Sargeras. If anyone is looking for a good guild on a pvp server, then this group is worth considering. It's a mature and friendly group of people, especially considering the size of the guild.
I haven't played much on Sargeras lately because of real life and because I think I'm a pansy carebear. (Sorry, Morphiend). But, my roommate is loving it over there.
Alleria (PVE) Cactus 39 Night Elf Rogue
Member of a small-mid size friends/family guild. Most are transplants from a successful family/raid guild hybrid in Everquest. Alleria is a pretty high population server, but it has been one of the good servers without a lot of downtime.

Currently a L59 orc warrior, Shinobu, on proudmoore. Defensive specced so soloing is a little bit painful. All trade skills (Alc/herb main) at cap apart from fishing which gets really tedious to raise about 250. Was a sad day when I capped out cooking, was good to go back and cook up the left-overs from the days slaughter. Done all instance quests upto sunken temple which is next in line. Actually looking forward to 60 so I can play a little bit less often, naturally everyone in the guild fell upon the levelling wheel like starving rats in a cheese factory but should soon get up to the "what now?" stage which is always fun to watch.
Also have played most other classes upto teens, priest twice (once on alliance). Deleted the hunter, amazing how it can be both over-powered and boring.

Mages beat some serious ass at higher levels. I'd say in our 3 man group of shaman/shaman/mage the mage puts in 70%+ of the damage while doing crowd control and giving an insane int buff. Free water at the high end is especially nice.

I'm really in two minds on this one. I'm really enjoying the role of a PvE tank, and the WoW instances are truly spectacular, but a protection specced tank doesn't really translate at all well into PvP. Of course with battlefields far from being out it's hard to make any solid predictions about what their gameplay will look like. /wave pants.

I'm looking into respeccing to protection for instance runs, since it's about all a warrior seems to be good for somedays. I'm currently arms/fury and I can't hold aggro in the instances I'm doing now without sitting in defensive mode spamming taunt when the timer is up. I going to have to respec for BRD and the other high level instances, don't think I'll have a choice in the matter. Illidan server, Alliance. Darema, 51 NE warrior Ryssa, 18 Human mage

Holy Catass, Batman! When does a mage become useful? My lvl 21 is just pure agony to try to level- she is just too damned fragile. Where have you put your Talent Points? Fragility Really isnt that much of an issue for mages. Unless you are doing some seriously bad solo pulling, whatever you are attacking should pretty much be dead before it gets to you. Ice bolt, Firebolt, Fireblast, Firebolt and take a hit, Frost nova and back up, Fireblast, firebolt, and if it isnt dead by then it is pretty damn close. Total times it manages to hit you (if it is mele) around 2. Casters usually drop faster (just nuke them, with the occasional silence and Fire/Ice damage shield to help. And yeah, mages are some SICK damage output at higher levels. As a nearly totally Fire spec mage (11pts in Arcane for Evocation) I can top the hate list in nearly every party i am in. I have topped the hate list in a party with 2 fighters and a rogue, through sheer damage. They just couldnt keep the mobs off me. Really makes you appreciate a good healer in the party :P. Oh, and i am almost 56 now on Kaimei
