200 Dead Cows Found In Wisconsin 200 cows were found dead Friday on a farm in Portage County, Wisconsin. The dead cows had to be removed with semi-trucks. The rest of the farm has not been quarantined, as officials say no threat is posed toward humans or other animals, according the The AP.

Prophets claiming to be the Mahdi are kind of old news in Islamic societies.
What I think is more interesting is that bin Laden is awfully well-positioned to actually become or be seen as the Hidden Imam of the Twelver tradition of Shi'a Islam. If he's still alive, about the smartest and scariest thing he could do would be to just make a ton of cryptic, non-specific audio recordings every single day and when he dies of natural causes, make sure that his body is completely destroyed with virtually no one seeing him in his last days.

That May 21st shit was started by a group here in Oakland. They have billboards in English and Spanish for it everywhere, even on the Buses.

I think I'm going to stay home on Saturday with my ammo. It’s the kind of belief that riles up churchgoers who insist no one can know when Judgment Day will come, and the sort that many say does a disservice to Christianity. And it’s the kind of message that delights the types who are planning tongue-in-cheek End of the World parties and are responding to a Facebook invitation to attend a post-rapture looting. Rapture events, including one at a tiki bar in Fort Lauderdale, are being hosted by American Atheists. News outlets, comedians and even Doonesbury can’t seem to resist a good end-of-the-world prophecy. Italics mine- I think it will be a good evening to stay indoors.

Welp, looks like his math was off. Harold Camping has revised his math so that now apparently the world will end in just 5 months!!!!!! I love the nutjobs the most, I think. They make everything interesting. This is the basis for his new prediction, which Camping claims is not new at all. He told listeners on his Family Radio broadcast Monday that God is "loving and merciful," and had decided not to punish the humanity with five months of destruction. Maybe we should all just send him some more money. |
