-Forums are switching over to Simple Machines - it won't be noticeable in any huge manner. Database and everything is an easy switchover. It has a lot of features we want.

-Finally, sleeker, slimmed down logo.

No shit... the only other message boards I frequent are on a fan-run site for the Houston Astros.  They were phpBB until about a month ago when the owner lost his host in Sweden or something.  Since then we've been posting on... get ready...

You should check it out once in a while. With regular interviews and reviews, it can be quite nice for gaming news. And E3 is coming up so there will be more and more newsworthy items as we drag on through winter.

I like the new layout...Easier access to past articles and whatnot. The black isn't doing it for me though. Especially with the link colors -- light teal blue is just ugly.

The logo too. There's nothing wrong with "plain", but it's too plain. It's even a bit jaggy.

And you might consider being more clear on how you differentiate between News, Commentary and Articles - right now it just seem like a piece goes in whatever box the writer feels like.
And if you begin having more than a review a month, you might consider putting them into categories - I still don't give a shit about what you guys think of a movie or tv-show.

Front page changes aren't bad, but I'll make one observation. When I first looked, I immediately scanned right past that "Featured Article" box, because it looked like an ad to me. It was only my passing curiosity about Autoassault that made me even read what was in the box.

I like the new look, with really one comment aside from Bunk's.  The font for the forum/ Commentary news articles reviews / contact us section seems to be rather large in comparrison to the rest of the presentation.   Just looks out of place to me...

On the font size... the nav bar may very well be too large. Mind you, I have all my PCs set to 1280x1024 screen resolution, so I can't stand tiny fonts, but I can understand that those at lower resolutions are probably seeing some pretty big letters there. Good point, SPT.

The Latest News and below are just fine for my eyes at 1280x1024 although any smaller and it would be forcing me to squint or adjust the text display size on my browser.

For as often as I look at the front page, it's pretty good. Certainly a more professional look than it was before.

I like seeing the removal of the "eye banners" in favor of something that actually incorporates the logo....though some of the new ones are awfully minimialist. I figured some of it was about using copyrighted images, but one of the remaining ones includes Dodongo, and there is a Ewok "advertise with us" banner, so that shot my theory to shit.

Btw, is the WoW blog still supposed to be running ads for Pocket Kingdom? Any reason why it is linked from the forums, but not the front page?

Oh, and I notice there is no "advertise with us" stuff on the forums. Will there be ads on the forum pages, as we had with PK?
