Apparently it was announced at the Gamestop conference the other week.
I love EDF. It's probably the game I've played the most for 360.

vampirehipi23: I would enjoy a book written by a monkey and turned into a movie rather than this.

It looks much nicer than I remember EDF (1?) looking. Hopefully they put a little more polish in than last time and remove some of the annoyingly stupid parts, while keeping the stupidly fun parts. Edit: I guess I may be incorrectly assuming that trailer is ingame footage.

EDF: Insect Armageddon is out now, and it's (unsurprisingly) a lot of fun, and (surprisingly) not a technical nightmare like the last game. The difficulty is up just a bit from the previous title, despite what seems to be fewer bugs onscreen at one time. The increased polish and some design decisions (having events that require you to sit in one place without shooting, etc.) take away from the first game's camp value - this comes off as a decent mid-range title instead of a 'cult classic' like EDF2017. That said, It's only $40 and includes split-screen as well as online co-op, so get on this. :D

There's still a lot of camp, it's just played really straight. It's a lot of fun as well, though the leveling system has some hard tiers (tier 3 weapons to tier 4 weapons is about double or more on the damage, because that's the jump from Normal to Hard) Had four matches last night bug out as well (people getting stuck behind walls, encounters not proceeding to spawn the next wave, etc), but the prior night was nothing but fun mayhem.

This game is a lot of fun. My son and I have been having a blast playing couch co-op.
