Looking at Dotlan http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Deklein you can see that TCF have given away a massive number of systems and stations to the goons and Test. Can anyone enlighten me as to why they've done this?

They didn't want those systems anyway.
No, really.

Unironically, even.

TCF is moving into Venal to try and get some momentum back.

Yep. Unbelievably, its the truth.
I of course dont know a thing about their internal politics, but I think they felt really stagnant in the north so I would assume they are setting up for a nice long war to give people a reason to log in.

This must be an eve first, an alliance leaving a secure region for the joys of NPC 0.0 space. Ofc, Venal is very rich, if you could control it (and that's the rub), trying to dominate a region where reds just dock up in npc stations. Maybe this explains why White Noise left Venal?

Everyone can thank Dominion for making it a cast iron bitch to hold space, a huge headache even when it isn't a massive drain on resources. The TCF people must not've been able to maintain that much space, and better to give it away to friendly neighbors than have it taken by unfriendly ones. At least by inviting friends in, that section of space will be secured by non-hostile forces.

It was me I took their space (this is actually true for once).

I've long suspected that TCF is entirely composed of Americans who put on berets to play Eve and speak in Inspector Clouseau accents over Teamspeak. Real French people join the Cursed Alliance.

No idea where they hung out before. But they're French and very lively now. We're trying to get blue to them over the objections of some of our ex-forces American members.

Most of Cursed Alliance used to be members of TCF back when TCF was mighty.

Cursed alliance are primarily Section XIII, who stole a ton of money from TCF and went to join PL (which was horribly unsuccessful as a partnership), and Pulsar, who momentarily joined Goonswarm after leaving TCF, but left when we fucked up and went to Syndicate.
