Oh good - so things on sale tend to repeat a bit.  Thanks for the info.

Are you clicking it from your iphone/ipad/etc or your normal browser?  It's supposed to be a direct link to it in the appstore for iOS devices.

Goddamnit, double post.

Generally speaking, URLs with '...' in them don't really work. ;)

The real link is: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-sims-medieval/id451858886?mt=8

I need to buy ink, leeches and an eel, and a fowl. The market does not have these items. I have no idea what to do now.

The sim-owned market, or the village market?

I think I know what my problem is now.

There's a village market and a sim owned market?

There's the village one you should have been taken to in the tutorial, and there's one smack in the middle of town if you've created a merchant.  You can talk to the guys at the stall outside his or her house.   Leeches can also be obtained elsewhere, but I can't remember the details for sure, think it was from fishing.

There are leech nodes, yes, but only the physician can actually collect leeches from them, I believe. It's been a while since I've played it.

There is a tutorial?

How did I miss that?  Geezer gaming certainly has its challenges.

The whole first mission with your first monarch is more or less the tutorial, and walks you through all the areas and what you can generally do in some very explicit steps.  I don't think it's missable, but I suppose it's possible.

I can't remember if I had to play the tutorial my first kingdom, but you can definitely skip it if you want afterwards, which I always do. I need that precious 1 QP.  why so serious?
